Details to help you plan the perfect magical outing for your family.
Silly Billy is in Portland as part of the PDX Magic Jam, a magic convention where magicians come to learn, grow, and sharpen their skills. One of the best ways to teach great children’s magic is to show it live, so David Kaye is performing an actual kids magic show for a real audience, not just other magicians.
Kids sit up front so they can see everything clearly. Parents may sit right behind them in chairs or on the floor with their kids. Families are welcome to sit together.
The Silly Billy Magic Show is designed primarily for children ages 4–9, but younger and older siblings are welcome. The comedy and magic are family‑friendly, so parents, grandparents, and caregivers have a great time too.
Yes. Every person who needs a seat should have a ticket, including adults(But adult tickets are free just let us know how many are coming please). This helps us keep the room comfortable and ensures everyone can see the show.
Doors open at 3:40 PM. We recommend arriving 10–20 minutes early to find parking, check in, and get settled before the show begins at 4:00 PM sharp.
The show is joyful, silly, and upbeat — not spooky. There may be a few excited shouts from kids and moments of music, but nothing designed to frighten children. If your child is very sensitive to noise, consider bringing child‑safe ear covers just in case.
You’re welcome to take a few quick photos or short clips on your phone, as long as it doesn’t block the view of others. Please turn off the flash and keep devices on silent so everyone can enjoy the experience.
In just 50 minutes, you’ll make memories with your kids they’ll be talking about long after the weekend is over — all thanks to Silly Billy and his crazy magic.
